Early indications are looking good for local campaigner Tom Philpott as Conservative Campaigners report a strong surge of support for Tom's campaign to stop the over-developement of Southend Village and the destruction of the Excalibur Estate.
"People want to have a proper say in what happens in their area; but it's clear that Labour-run Lewisham have not been listening," says Tom.
"I am proud to have supported local efforts to save the Green Man Public House and to help stop plans for an 11 storey tower block on the site of the former Courts Furniture Store in Bromley road."
