The twentieth Lewisham People's day took place in Mountsfield Park on the 10th of July, the park was filled not only with people from all over the borough but also with music, dance, art, open air theatre and a range of other activities. The afternoon rain didn't prevent thousands from flocking to the fun. The day highlighted everything that is great about Lewisham, the diversity, vibrancy and wide range of local talent.
The event is organized by Lewisham Council and Emanuel Hawks (the recently elected Young Mayor for Lewisham) launched the b-inspired website. Youth was very much in evidence and there were activities aimed at all age ranges.
