Conservative Mayoral Candidate James Cleverly would like to thank all those who supported his campaign to become Mayor of Lewisham.
In an election that saw Labour's power in Lewisham shattered, with gains by all the other main Parties, the Conservative vote rose by almost 3,000 compared with 2002.
James says "I am deeply grateful to all those who gave me their vote on Thursday 4th May and my pledge to them is that my team and I will be continuing to work with local people to tackle the issues facing Lewisham in the months that lie ahead."
